Introducing The TrueLine-Ø

TrueLine Origins.

There is power in meaningful design built to serve a purpose.

This work blends precision craftsmanship and innovation driven by necessity.

What is the TrueLine-Zero?

The TrueLine-Zero is an environmental sensor suite with a display that dynamically provides precision long-range shooters with the data they need in real-time. Onboard sensors include relative humidity, barometric pressure, temperature, pitch, and roll in a Picatinny rail mountable package. Bluetooth enables pairing third-party devices, such as the Kestrel, to contribute wind velocity data with range data integration currently under development.

About me: I’m Nate Goodwin, Owner and Founder of TrueLine Studios (LLC). In the summer of 2010, I was introduced to the men and women who taught me that the only way to confront complex engineering challenges is to leave no possibility untested. Conquering where there is no precedent means the honor of moving the standard. That led to the founding of TrueLine Studios in January 2025. My understanding of what could be done shifted when I stepped aboard the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln for the first time. Over the next twenty-four months, I spent nineteen and a half at sea serving in the Lincoln’s Repair Division as a propulsion engineer and repair machinist. As one of five repair machinists aboard during many months of combat operations, our task was to find solutions where convention claimed they did not exist.

The same tenacity I learned to apply to attacking problems on the deck plates has been poured into the development of my Student Innovation Project at the University of Advancing Technology—the creation of the TrueLine-Zero.
